MISSION STATEMENT

T’iis Nazbas Community School prepares students to become confident, productive, and capable citizens while developing and maintaining a respectful understanding of their Navajo language and culture. Every child will be empowered to be a lifelong learner and critical thinker with compassion.

VISION STATEMENT

In an ever-changing technological world, T’iis Nazbas Community School will embrace and upgrade its use of technology to prepare students to function as productive, successful citizens.

EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

T’iis Nazbas Community School Board believes we have dedicated, highly qualified staff whose number one interest is to provide quality education to our children. All students at our school are unique and capable individuals, and all children can achieve high academic standards through support and parent participation.

Strategic Transformation of Education Plan (STEP)

T’iis Nazbas Community School implemented the Strategic Transformation of Education Plan (STEP) initiative – a digital learning portal with a blended learning approach. Our students can maximize this opportunity by accessing the digital learning portal with a 1:1 student-laptop usage ratio. This approach gives our students the advantage of integrated applications, and a robust learning strategy.

T’iis Nazbas Community School’s team of dedicated educators are committed to the growth and development of your children - tomorrow’s leaders.
